These are fun, introductory workshops to learn a variety of ceramic making skills, and leave with finished pieces. Bring ideas of your own and respond to the demonstrated techniques. Every workshop will begin with a brief introduction of working in the studio.
Kids Workshop 200€ 2h per week 5 session
Involving children in a playful craft process. This workshop is available for a group consisting of up to 5 kids.
Handbuild 300€ 2h per week 5 session
Ceramic Handbuilding techniques for beginners. We will run through the three basic hand-building techniques: ‘pinching’, ‘coiling’ & ‘slab building’. After these energetic exercises, you will have some time to play and experiment with clay. This workshop available for a group consisting of up to 3 people.
Model making 600€ 3h per week 5 session
Mold and model-making techniques, learning to work with clay and plaster. You will model shape for a ‘one-part’ mould, and then create the physical mould using plaster. This will allow you to press the shape many times, playing with its construction and form. This workshop available for a group consisting of up to 2 people. Materials must be purchased based on the project.
Glaze workshop 600€ 2h per week 7 session
Developing glazes and troubleshooting for your glaze results. It is a theoretical and practical workshop based on ceramics chemistry. This workshop available for a group consisting of up to 2 people. Materials must be purchased based on the project.
Project Base 520€ 2h per week 7 session
Developing your projects giving additional information for crafting firing and glazing. This is one on one workshop. Materials must be purchased based on the project.
